TikTok Monetization: Creator Rewards and Other Ways to Earn

TikTok has several ways to earn money. The main one for video creators is the Creator Rewards Program. The biggest thing to know: most TikTok money tools are only open in some countries. This guide was checked on 25 October 2026, but TikTok changes its programs often.

Creator Rewards Program

TikTok launched the Creator Rewards Program in March 2024. It replaced the older Creator Fund and Creativity Program.

Requirements (from TikTok's announcement)

• Be at least 18 years old.
• Have at least 10,000 followers.
• Have at least 100,000 video views in the last 30 days.
• Have a personal account in good standing.
• Live in a region where the program is available.
• Only videos longer than one minute earn rewards.

What TikTok rewards

TikTok says rewards are based on four things:

• Originality: content that shows your own view or creative process.
• Play duration: watch time and how many people finish.
• Search value: how well your video matches what people search for.
• Audience engagement: likes, comments and shares.

TikTok does not publish a fixed rate per view, so be careful of anyone who promises a set amount.

Which countries? (Including Pakistan)

We could not find an official TikTok page we could open that lists every country. TikTok's announcement only says the program works "where the program is available". Third-party lists we checked do not agree with each other. An older one from 2024 named the US, UK, Germany, France, Japan, South Korea and Brazil. A 2026 list named a different set. None of the lists we found included Pakistan, but we could not confirm this from TikTok itself.

How to check for yourself:

1. Open TikTok and go to your profile.
2. Tap the menu, then open TikTok Studio or Creator tools.
3. Look for Creator Rewards Program or a monetization section.
4. If it is not shown, it is likely not available for your account or country yet.

Never use a VPN or false location to join. It breaks TikTok's terms and can get your account banned or your earnings withheld.

Other ways to earn on TikTok

LIVE gifts

Viewers can send virtual gifts during your LIVE videos, which can be turned into money. LIVE and gifting have age and follower requirements, and gifting is not open everywhere. Check the current rules in TikTok's LIVE and Virtual Items policies, and in your app.

Subscriptions

Some creators can offer a monthly subscription for extra perks. This is invite-based or limited by country and account. Look in TikTok Studio to see if it is offered to you.

TikTok Shop affiliate

Creators can promote products and earn a commission on sales. TikTok Shop only runs in certain countries. If it is not open where you live, you will not see Shop options in your app.

Brand deals

Brand deals work in every country because the brand pays you directly. Small creators can work with local shops, apps and brands. You must clearly disclose paid posts. Read our Brand Deals and Affiliate Links guide.

Music for business accounts

If you use a TikTok Business Account, use the Commercial Music Library. TikTok says its songs are pre-cleared for commercial use, and that songs from the general music library are not cleared for brand content.

A practical plan if monetization is not open in your country

• Grow on TikTok anyway. Followers help you win brand deals.

Tips to earn more with Creator Rewards (if available)

• Make videos over one minute that keep people watching. Start fast, cut pauses.
